What makes our Beef Premium?

Only young Angus cattle are chosen to be processed for Fischer Farms Natural Beef.  The cattle are fed an all vegetarian diet of grain and high quality grasses.  All excess fat is trimmed for lean healthy meat.  Finally, our beef is aged for 21 days to achieve a premium taste and tenderness.  This type of beef is usually only found in fine restaurants

What is the advantage of locally grown and processed?

Most meat in midwest supermarkets and butcher shops comes as far away as Nebraska and South Dakota.  These cows are often moved to three different farms along with several processors and distributors before it ever reaches your grocer's shelf.  When buying meat from Fischer Farms, you know exactly where your meat has been raised and processed.  Because we process our meat with a small local processor, we can request that the meat be trimmed of excess fat and packaged to our customer's request.  Our customers are always invited to visit our farm to witness how we raise the meat they will consume.
